Max is inspired by Maurice Sendak’s picture story “Where The Wild Things Are” and we will be entering the world of a boy called Max who is about your age. There is mischief making of one kind and another and you decide which kind of mischief makes his mother hit the roof. This is a world where bedrooms transform into forests and you decide what that could sound like because the emotional landscape is changing and expanding and getting wild. How do we confront the Wild Things and tame them? I don’t know, you need to be there to help me out because I’ve got the outline of the story but I need your ideas to help colour it in.
Max is a 50 minute interactive storytelling session for children of five year olds upwards and their grown ups.
